The stables apartment can be found in the quadrangle behind the Huonden historic mansion – now a serviced offices commercial building at 178 Macquarie Street.

Hobart central shopping district is at the end of the street.

The historic wharf area is nearby - just a short walk through the park for seven minutes.

The popular Salamanca Place and Battery Point tourist areas are just 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

The bus passes the door to take you to other Hobart attractions.

Driving directions to Huonden

If you are driving yourself you will probably enter Hobart from the North via the Brooker Highway. At the end of the highway, drive through the large roundabout and proceed West along Davey St, past the wharf area, turning right into Molle St and then immediately right again into Macquarie St. Huonden is number 178 on the right hand side between Barrack and Harrington Sts, next to the chemist. Enter the car park via the laneway on the city side of Huondon.

A trip from the airport takes approximately 20 minutes by car. Continue across the bridge spanning the Derwent River staying in the left hand lane. Follow the road to the left (southern side of the city) and continue along this road (Davey St). Cross to the right hand lane and turn right into Molle St and immediately right again into Macquarie St. Huonden is number 178 on the right hand side between Barrack and Harrington Sts, next to the chemist. Enter the car park via the laneway on the city side of Huondon.
